Welcome to Ledlanet

Home of Craigowmill Scottish Cattle & Ledlanet Self Catering

Ledlanet is situated at the centre of Scotland about 3 miles West of the M90 at Milnathort, Kinross on the southern slopes of the Ochil Hills.  The 240ha of land rises from 140m to 320m with views over the whole Vale of Leven with North Berwick in East Lothian visible on a clear day. With 440 acres of arable/grassland,150 acres of mixed woodland and a private loch it is a marvellous place for walking and observing a wide variety of wildlife.

Our farming policy is to breed pedigree Highland, Aberdeen Angus(including Native Angus) and Shorthorn cattle to a high standard. Visitors are always welcome to view the cattle at any time of year.

We have 3 holiday cottages for let and a fully equipped “Function Suite” for up to 40 people for dinners, receptions, small conferences, family get togethers or celebrations. These are available for weekly lets with short breaks also from September to March.

There are countless activities in the area. Within an hour you can be in Edinburgh, Glasgow, St. Andrews, Perth, Stirling, Dundee etc. Golf is available locally at Kinross, Milnathort, Muckhart and Gleneagles; slightly further away there are many famous courses in Fife and at Dundee and Carnoustie. Kinross Castle on an island on Loch Leven is a 5* destination and there are many other Great Houses and Castles close by, such as Stirling and Glamis.

All available weeks in May and June for Ledlanet Lodge or Stables Cottage are available at the reduced rate of £500 if we are contacted direct.
