“The Scourie” was stock bull at Achnacloich for six years where he was held in high esteem by both Mrs. Nelson and the late Angus MacGillivray.
He normallyproduced light-coloured heifers with wonderful heads such as the successful show
cow, Fiona 3rd of Craigowmill, and Siusan Ruadh 4th of Craigowmill: the top price female at the Oban Spring Sale in February 2000 fetching 3,000 guineas.
