He sired Gille Dubh of Craigowmill, Oban Champion February 2001 and Sine Dhubh of Craigowmill, Reserve Champion at the Great Yorkshire Show and Dalmally Show 2004.
The late Archie Howat thought that Gille’s dam, Princess Dubh 7th of Rigg, was the best female that he had ever bred and his sire Gille Dubh of Ardeonaig was the outstanding black bull of his generation.
