For a few selected weeks each year the Old Seabox may be available. It is one of the oldest houses in St. Andrews having its origin in 1580 and is situated in North Street 300 or 400 yards from the Old Course and the West Sands, one of the best beaches in Europe.
The accommodation comprises on the ground floor level reception, hallway, living room, dining room, bathroom, well equipped kitchen and adaptable breakfast/garden room. This room also provides direct access onto the sizeable walled garden to the rear.
A turn stair leads to the first floor which provides bedroom one, a further bathroom and sitting room or fourth bedroom. The second floor affords two further well proportioned bedrooms
The garden grounds lie south most are extensively laid with lawn with full stocked borders, pond, tree house etc. There is a further patio and courtyard area, the perfect place to unwind after a days exploring or to entertain new friends.
The town has a host of attractions with its own theatre, cinema, deep sea aquarium, Golf Museum, 7 courses, and countless pubs and restaurants. This beautiful and historic “old grey toon” is not to be missed and bookings are highly recommended at an early stage. |
